Dearest Gee.
Just got another seven letters tonight. Got letters ranging from Free. 18 to the 24th. All v-mail. I can well understand the slump in your mail. The main reason is because I haven’t been writing them. I’ll writing every chance I get. Don’t be too harsh with the government on this mail situation. We don’t care if the letters are six months old they are still letters. It all takes time on this end because they sure work under difficulties. The question I asked you a long while back, you already answered so I’m really sorry I ever brought it up. I guess I just get to worrying once in awhile. Overlook it, will you? No, I haven’t seen Tom yet, in fact I don’t even know what outfit he’s in. I thought you said he was in Africa yet. I’ve got a little girl friend too, kid. Her name is Therina as near as I can figure it out. She’s about three or four years old and laughs all the time. Especially when I give her “caramelli” and she’ll say “gracia”. You’d go good over here, kid, as you can talk so well with your hands. That’s half the battle. The lieutenant and I manage a few eggs once in awhile too, boy. Hope I see you soon. I sure love you and miss you.
So long now.
