Dearest Gee.

Have been writing all my letters regular mail til this time but I wanted you to get this one a little quicker. I had a visitor yesterday. Chick finally found out where we were so he got to me first. Kinda took me by surprise. He couldn’t stay very long, in fact it wasn’t more than an hour I don’t believe but we sure got plenty talked over. I showed him the latest pictures and we had a cup of coffee together. Wanted him to stay for supper but he didn’t have time. He looks fine. I suppose he’ll tell you all about it. In fact, you will probably get his letter first. I didn’t get a chance to write last night. I’ll pay him a visit now. Golly, I sure collected mail today. I got your very sweet Easter card and two packages of funny books. Thank you. Happy Easter to you (yeah, late — I know.) I got a swell card from Mom with a long letter written on it. She doesn’t let any space go to waste. Got a nice card from Claude and Mildred, also from Jennie, Mrs. Nelson, Coe, and Carrie. Then I got two v-mails from Erv, and a v-mail from Chick, and a v-mail from Dad dated the 21st. That’s quite a gob of mail, isn’t it? Tell them all thanks for their cards. Jennie says Joe wrote you so she’s going to write to me and she did! Had another close call the other night but I’m still okay. Must be those four leaf clovers, hey? Sure love you and miss you. Hope I see you soon.

So long now.
