Dearest Gee.
Well, I got this far and now I don’t know what to write about. Got a much needed hair cut today now if I just had one of your famous shampoos life would be worth living again. Since Doug quit the barber business “Dr Garcia” has taken over. He didn’t leave much there to shampoo. We sure have been having the trouble with the motorcycle. Today the lieutenant and I were slaving away at it and finally got it back together. We flipped a washer to see who would start it and I lost, or won, whichever way you want to put it. Anyway, I tromped on the starter and it took off like a million dollars but caught on fire almost at the same time. Guess I don’t have to tell you I got off. Started throwing dirt on it and by the time we had it put out it looked more like a pile of dirt than anything else. Will let you in on the next installment tomorrow. Has Jenny heard anything from Joe since getting word of his dad’s death. Sure is a tough jolt for Joe. Did Joe and Bud ever get together yet? They’ll probably manage to. I haven’t seen Chick anymore lately. I owe him a visit. Sounds like you’re back on your theatre schedule with Mildred again. I’d like to see a good movie once. Tell Claudie that four pager was okay. Maybe I’ll be able to rip one off to him. I’m still okay. Hope you are too. Sure love you and miss you.
So long now.
