Dearest Gee.

I’ll have to answer all your letters kinda piecemeal since this writing paper is so limited in length. I got three more letters yesterday, two nice ones from you and one from Mom. I got out my forty letters yesterday and reread them. Got a kick out of the bridge club letter. Especially when Ralph Huffer says he wanted me to get a Jap for him! Oh well, who knows, maybe he is talking about the future. I hope not tho. You must have had quite a time on your trip. Sounded as if it was spent mostly on buses and trains. Nevermind, honey, we’ll have us a nice home some of these days too, if the Lord is willing. Douglass has his camera now. He made T/5 I believe, or corporal. Nearly all of the gang has a rating now except Kellershon. I haven’t had a chance to congratulate Chick yet. I know what he means by responsibilities. Kid, all I can do lately is think about the day I come home. I’m sure looking forward to it. Don’t look for these letters very steady. If it wasn’t for this short break you wouldn’t be getting this many. I’m sorry you didn’t get the bracelet yet. Hope you do, and like it, although it looked cheesy to me. Has Chick resigned himself as to who was the first in Rome and the first in France yet? For my part, he can, or could have had those “firsts”. I really sweat! I love you, honey, and always will. Miss you like everything. Be good.

So long.
